At FBC Searcy, our greatest desire is for everyone to have a relationship with Jesus Christ. In fact, we believe that the greatest gift one can receive is the salvation that comes only through Jesus.

Romans 5:1 -- "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ."
John 3:16 -- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. "
Question - Why do many people not have this peace and abundant life?
Romans 3:23 -- "For all have sinned; all fall short of God's glorious standard."
Romans 6:23 -- "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord."
Remember - Our choice separates us from God.
1Timothy 2:5 -- "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."
Romans 5:8 -- "But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners."
Understand - God has provided the only way, and each person must make a choice.
John 1:12 -- "But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God."
Romans 10:9-10 -- "If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved."
The Real Question - Where are you today?
1. Admit your need (I am a sinner), and be willing to turn from your sins (Repent).
2. Believe that Jesus Christ is God's son and that he died for you on the cross and rose from the grave.
3. Confess Jesus as Savior and Lord, and commit your life to Him.
"Dear God, I know that I am a sinner and that my sin separates me from you. I thank you for sending Jesus Christ to die on the cross for my sin. I believe that Jesus came to earth, died on the cross for my sins, and rose again. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my life to be my Lord. Please be my savior and change me from the inside out. Thank you for your gift of eternal life. I receive your gift and turn from my sin. Thank you, God. In Jesus Name, Amen."
