Adult Bible StudyFBC Searcy offers Life Group Bible Studies for people of all ages and in all stages of life. Each Life Group meets on Sunday Mornings at 9:40 am. If you have additional questions, please feel free to call the church office at 268-3561 or e-mail Hal Stroupe at .

YOUNG AND MEDIAN ADULT GROUPS

Ingram (Young Adults) - F211
This is our newest life group and is designed for young couples and young single adults. Led by Jeremy & Rhonda Ingram, this class uses the Bible Studies for Life curriculum meets on the second floor of the Family Education Building.

Hill (Young Adults) – FE213
This Life Group (20s-30s) is designed for young couples and young single adults. This class is led by Stuart and Paula Hill and meets on the 2nd Floor of our new Family Education Building in Room 213. They are currently using a LifeWay series called "Masterwork".

Foundations (Young Adults) – FE212
This group is also designed for young adults (20s-30s) in mind. This co-ed class uses "The Gospel Project" series from LifeWay Christian Resources. Led by the McClellans and the Staffords, this class meets in our new Family Education Building in Room 212.

Hooper – FE210
We have several Life Groups designed for individuals who are in their 30s to 50s, this group uses LifeWay's “Masterwork” curriculum helping individuals to live out their faith in everyday life. Led by Steve and Tina Hooper, this group meets in the new Family Education Building.

Bell – AE201C
Led by Jean Ann Bell, this group is just for the ladies. It is designed to meet the needs of women of all ages and uses the “Explore the Bible” curriculum.

Garlington – AE205
This group is led by Danny Garlington and is designed to meet the needs of median-aged adults. They use the “Masterwork” series and meet in the Adult Education Building (Room 205).

Dees – AE206
This group is designed specifically to meet the needs of median-aged adults (50s and 60s) and is led by Terry Dees. Using the “Bible Studies for Life” series, they use a curriculum designed specifically for “empty nesters.” Join the Dees class for great Bible Study in the Adult Education Building in Room 206.

Martin – AE203
This is another Life Group designed to meet the needs of median-aged couples (50s and 60s). Led by Keith Martin, this group promises to be a great time of study using the “Explore the Bible” curriculum series. This class meets in the New Education Building in Room 218.

 

COLLEGE AND CAREER

This group is for College Students and Young Professionals. They meet on the 2nd Floor of the new Family Education Building in Rooms 208 and 209. They meet for breakfast and Bible Study every Sunday morning.

SINGLE ADULTS

Single Adults - Meets in the "First Place" building at the corner of Pleasure and Spruce. They study the Bible Studies for Life series.

Something to Consider - All Life Group Bible Studies are open to both couples and single adults. We believe this helps our Single Adults feel more comfortable as they fellowship and study. The choice is up to you.

OLDER ADULTS

Encouragers – AE109
The Encouragers are a group of older adults who enjoy fellowship and enjoy studying God’s Word together. Led by Jimmy Vandiver, this class is involved in every area of the church. They meet for Bible Study on the first floor of the Adult Education Building in Room 109.

 

MEN’S CLASSES

Todd Carpenter – AE202
This is a men’s group that has lots of fun meeting and studying together. Led by Don Raney, this class meets in the Adult Education Building in Room 202.

Bill Wood – AE104
Led by Bill Bennett, this group is for the men and meets in Room 104 of the Adult Education Building.

Cal Aclin – AE110
This is a group for many of our older men. They are led by Dearth Cramblett and David Crouch using the “Bible Studies for Life” curriculum series. This curriculum series takes a closer look at specific topics that apply to people of all ages. They meet on the first floor of the Adult Education Building (Room 110).

 

WOMEN’S CLASSES

Philathea – Meets in the Adult Education Building in the Pastoral Library & Conference Room. They use Bible Studies for Life and are led by Jean Norris.

Faith – Meets in the Adult Education Building in Room 103. They are led by Maxine Boggs and Ginger Wallace and use Bible Studies for Life.

LLL/Martha – Meets in the Worship Center building in Room 101. Led by Pat Bennett, they use Explore the Bible.

Eloise Shedd - This group of ladies meets in Room 201A of the Adult Education Building.

Rebekah – This ladies class meets in Room 201B and is led by Connie Willis.

SPECIAL MINISTRIES SUNDAY SCHOOL

Designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities, our Special Ministries Class is a great place to sing, worship, and learn. Call us for more information about ministry to this very special group of individuals. The Special Ministries Sunday School Class meets from 9:30 to 10:30 am every Sunday morning and is directed by Dianne Thomas, Bob Holland, Jane Raiford, and Ben Williams.
