Dr. Whitney is the newest member of the FBC staff, serving as our pastor since October of 2009. Before coming to FBC, Dr. Whitney served as the Pastor of several churches in Texas as well as serving a church as the Minister to Youth/Single Adults. He also served as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas for five years. Dr. Whitney and his wife Jana live in Searcy with their two sons, Clark and Collin.

Clay has a history of dedicated service to churches in Arkansas and Texas. He has served as Minister of Music at FBC since 1986 and lives in Searcy with his wife, Karen. His daughter, Lynley, is a student at Ouachita Baptist University.

Hal has served on the FBC staff since October of 2006. Prior to joining the FBC staff, he served as Children's Minister, Minister to Adults, and Associate Pastor in churches in Arkansas and Texas. Hal has three children (Allisyn, Jennifer, and Joseph) and lives in Searcy with his wife, Sheila.

Mother's Day Out Director

Bachelor of Science in Education, University of Central Arkansas, Conway.

Joy serves part-time as our Preschool Coordinator and as our Mother’s Day Out Director. She has served at FBC since January of 2003. She lives in Searcy with Michael, her husband and with her two children, Mikayla, and Abby.
