Dr. Whitney has served as Pastor of FBC-Searcy since October of 2009. Before coming to FBC, Dr. Whitney served as the Pastor of several churches in Texas as well as serving in a church as the Minister to Youth/Single Adults. He also served as an adjunct professor at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas for five years. Dr. Whitney and his wife Jana live in Searcy with their son, Collin. Their other son, Clark is a student at Ouachita Baptist University.

Clay has dedicated his entire ministry to leading Worship Ministries within the local church and has a history of dedicated service to churches in Arkansas and Texas. He has served as Minister of Music at FBC since 1986 and lives in Searcy with his wife, Karen and his daughter, Lynley.

Hal has served on the FBC staff since October of 2006. Prior to joining the FBC staff, he served as Children's Minister, Minister to Adults, and Associate Pastor in churches in Arkansas and Texas. Hal has three children (Allisyn, Jennifer, and Joseph) and lives in Searcy with his wife, Sheila.

Matt Fike Matt Fike

Bachelor of Science (History/Business), University of North Alabama

 

Prior to coming to Searcy, Matt was involved in church work and missions activities in Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, and New Zealand. He has a passion for Student Ministry and believes that God has specifically called him to work with students. Matt has been at FBC-Searcy since March of 2011 and lives in Searcy with his wife, Kelly.
